TurboPermit Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website, applications, software, AI tools, APIs, and services provided by TurboPermit Corporation (“TurboPermit,” “Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) through TurboPermit.co and related platforms (collectively, the “Platform”).

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, do not use the Platform.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into binding agreements to use the Platform.

If you access the Platform on behalf of a company or organization, you represent and warrant that you have authority to bind that entity to these Terms.

2. Platform Services

TurboPermit provides permit management, workflow coordination, collaboration, document management, AI-assisted review, permit tracking, and related software services.

TurboPermit is not:

  • a government agency,
  • a permitting authority,
  • a law firm,
  • an engineering firm,
  • an architectural firm,
  • or a code compliance authority.

The Platform does not guarantee:

  • permit approval,
  • code compliance,
  • inspection outcomes,
  • regulatory acceptance,
  • filing accuracy,
  • workflow completeness,
  • project timelines,
  • or legal sufficiency of any submission.

Users remain solely responsible for:

  • reviewing all documents,
  • verifying all information,
  • ensuring regulatory compliance,
  • meeting filing deadlines,
  • and obtaining all required professional approvals.

3. AI Features and Disclaimers

The Platform may provide AI-generated outputs, recommendations, workflow guidance, summaries, prechecks, or document analysis.

You acknowledge and agree that:

  • AI-generated outputs may contain inaccuracies, omissions, errors, or outdated information;
  • AI outputs are probabilistic and automatically generated;
  • AI outputs do not constitute legal, engineering, architectural, permitting, compliance, or professional advice;
  • and all AI outputs require independent human review by qualified professionals.

You are solely responsible for evaluating and verifying any AI-generated output before relying upon it.

TurboPermit disclaims all liability arising from use of or reliance on AI-generated outputs.

4. User Accounts

You are responsible for:

  • maintaining account security,
  • protecting login credentials,
  • controlling collaborator access,
  • and all activity occurring under your account or workspace.

You must immediately notify TurboPermit of any unauthorized access or suspected security incident.

TurboPermit may suspend, restrict, or terminate accounts at any time for security, abuse prevention, operational, or legal reasons.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • use the Platform unlawfully;
  • upload malicious code, malware, or harmful files;
  • interfere with Platform operation;
  • scrape, crawl, harvest, or extract data;
  • overload or disrupt systems;
  • bypass rate limits or security controls;
  • access accounts or data without authorization;
  • impersonate others;
  • create fraudulent or misleading accounts;
  • use bots or automated systems without written authorization;
  • or use the Platform to compete with TurboPermit.

You may not use the Platform or any outputs to:

  • develop competing software,
  • train machine learning or AI systems,
  • benchmark or evaluate competing products,
  • perform model extraction,
  • harvest prompts or outputs,
  • or reverse engineer Platform functionality.

TurboPermit reserves the right to investigate and take action against misuse of the Platform.

6. Intellectual Property

The Platform and all associated software, technology, AI systems, workflows, interfaces, code, designs, text, graphics, content, and functionality are owned by TurboPermit or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws.

Except as expressly authorized in writing, you may not:

  • copy,
  • reproduce,
  • modify,
  • distribute,
  • republish,
  • sublicense,
  • sell,
  • lease,
  • create derivative works,
  • mirror,
  • frame,
  • scrape,
  • reverse engineer,
  • decompile,
  • disassemble,
  • decode,
  • or attempt to access source code or underlying models.

All rights not expressly granted are reserved by TurboPermit.

7. Customer Data and Uploads

You retain ownership of content, documents, files, plans, and information uploaded to the Platform (“Customer Data”).

You grant TurboPermit a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, analyze, transmit, and display Customer Data solely to:

  • provide the Platform,
  • improve services,
  • operate AI features,
  • maintain security,
  • and comply with legal obligations.

You represent and warrant that:

  • you have all necessary rights to upload Customer Data;
  • your uploads do not violate laws or third-party rights;
  • and you have authority to share uploaded materials with collaborators.

TurboPermit may remove or restrict access to content that violates these Terms or creates security or legal risk.

8. Collaboration Features

The Platform may allow sharing and collaboration among project participants.

You are solely responsible for:

  • granting collaborator access,
  • managing permissions,
  • and monitoring workspace activity.

TurboPermit is not responsible for unauthorized disclosures or actions by users or collaborators invited to your workspace.

9. Free Accounts and Usage Limits

TurboPermit may offer free or trial access to portions of the Platform.

TurboPermit may modify, suspend, limit, or terminate free access at any time without liability.

TurboPermit reserves the right to impose limits on:

  • storage,
  • AI usage,
  • projects,
  • collaborators,
  • API access,
  • uploads,
  • and Platform functionality.

10. Third-Party Services

The Platform may integrate with third-party services, vendors, AI providers, analytics systems, payment processors, or government systems.

TurboPermit is not responsible for third-party services, systems, or content.

11. Security

TurboPermit implements commercially reasonable safeguards designed to protect Platform security and Customer Data.

However, no system is completely secure, and TurboPermit does not guarantee that the Platform will be secure, uninterrupted, or error-free.

Users are responsible for maintaining backup copies of important data and documents.

12. Confidentiality

Each party agrees to protect confidential information disclosed by the other party using reasonable care and not disclose such information except as necessary to perform under these Terms or as required by law.

13. Copyright and DMCA

TurboPermit respects intellectual property rights.

If you believe content on the Platform infringes your copyright, you may submit a notice requesting removal.

TurboPermit may terminate repeat infringers.

14. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TURBOPERMIT DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING:

  • MERCHANTABILITY,
  • FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE,
  • NON-INFRINGEMENT,
  • ACCURACY,
  • RELIABILITY,
  • SECURITY,
  • AND AVAILABILITY.

TurboPermit does not warrant that:

  • the Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free;
  • AI outputs will be accurate;
  • workflows will satisfy regulatory requirements;
  • or permits will be approved.

15. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TURBOPERMIT SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • INDIRECT,
  • INCIDENTAL,
  • SPECIAL,
  • CONSEQUENTIAL,
  • EXEMPLARY,
  • OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES,
  • INCLUDING:
  • LOST PROFITS,
  • LOST REVENUE,
  • LOST DATA,
  • PROJECT DELAYS,
  • PERMIT REJECTIONS,
  • MISSED DEADLINES,
  • BUSINESS INTERRUPTION,
  • OR PROCUREMENT COSTS.

TURBOPERMIT’S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE PLATFORM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF:

(a) THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO TURBOPERMIT DURING THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM; OR

(b) ONE HUNDRED U.S. DOLLARS ($100).

16. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TurboPermit and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from claims, liabilities, damages, and expenses arising from:

  • your use of the Platform;
  • your Customer Data;
  • your violation of these Terms;
  • your violation of law;
  • or your infringement of third-party rights.

17. Arbitration and Class Action Waiver

Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Platform shall be resolved through binding arbitration on an individual basis.

YOU WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO PARTICIPATE IN A CLASS ACTION OR JURY TRIAL.

Arbitration shall occur in Delaware unless otherwise required by applicable law.

18. Termination

TurboPermit may suspend or terminate access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, for any reason.

Upon termination:

  • your access rights immediately cease;
  • and certain provisions of these Terms shall survive termination.

19. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, excluding conflict of law rules.

20. Changes to Terms

TurboPermit may modify these Terms at any time.

Continued use of the Platform after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
